Here's what's new on Wise this week.

🔄 1:1 recurring sessions — easier to set up and manage

Admins and instructors can now add and edit ongoing recurring booking rules for 1:1 courses (including "never ends" schedules), with clearer handling when a course already has a recurring instructor.

Example: Set "Every Tuesday at 4:00 PM" once instead of creating each session manually. Use the Edit button on the recurring banner to adjust or add new rules without starting over.

📁 Course content folders show correctly for learners and on public pages

If you organize lessons inside folders in a section, learners, visitors on the public course page, and recorded-course previews now see those folders (expand/collapse) instead of missing nested items. This fixes the issue where folder structures were invisible to users.

⚙️ Turn store registration questions on or off per course

On course registration settings you can now enable or disable extra checkout questions without deleting them. Name and email are still always collected.

Example: Pause "Grade level" during a promotion, then turn it back on later—no need to recreate the question.

🛒 Clearer checkout for pay-as-you-go (PAYG) courses

Store buttons now say Enroll / Proceed to Payment where appropriate (instead of generic "Pay Securely"), making the flow clearer for learners. After PAYG signup, learners get a proper enrollment confirmation—including a nudge to log in when needed.

👨‍💼 Smoother admin enrollment for recorded courses

When enrolling a learner from the admin wizard, you can now:

• Go back from the billing step without losing what you entered
• Use Skip and enroll on recorded courses even when you're not setting up a fee plan yet

This makes the enrollment process faster and more flexible for admins.

Here's what's new on Wise this week and how it helps your institute.

🏪 Storefront hero banners — carousel & richer design controls

You can now add multiple promotional banners at the top of your public store (and on the mobile learner home when your store is live with courses).

• Set up: Institute → Store → Store Design → Hero and banners — upload up to 10 images, drag to reorder, and add an optional click-through link per banner.
• Learner experience: Multiple banners rotate automatically (swipe on mobile); a single banner shows as a static hero.
• Also in Store Design: a clearer branding section for background/text colors and your logo link.

Example: upload three banners — "Summer intake," "Meet our instructors," "Free trial lesson" — each linking to a different course or your website. Learners swipe through them when they open your store.

🌐 More reliable currency on fees & billing

Fee and billing flows now read currency from each payment plan, instead of a separate course-level field that could drift out of sync. This applies across course fees, 1:1 billing setup, finance views, and store payment plans, and reduces the chance of a wrong currency symbol or amount showing when your institute's default currency differs from a course's billing currency.

Example: your institute default is USD but a UK course bills in GBP — invoices and plan summaries now stay in GBP end-to-end.

📅 Institute calendar — session cards show the full time range

In week/agenda-style calendar views, each session card now shows its start and end time (e.g. 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM), not just the start.

Example: scan Tuesday's grid and see at a glance which sessions are 60 vs. 90 minutes, without opening each one.

💬 Consultation / demo booking — correct date in every timezone

Public consultation booking no longer shifts the selected calendar day when the visitor is in a different timezone from your institute.

Example: a prospect in New York picks September 15 — the booked slot stays on the 15th instead of jumping to the 14th or 16th.

🔍 Faster, more accurate filters

List filters using the shared filter bar (Learners, Fees, Sessions, Analytics, and more) now search your full directory as you type, not just the first page already loaded.

Example: filter sessions by an instructor whose name starts with "Z" — they appear even if they weren't among the first 50 names loaded.

📋 Post-session feedback & attendance — more reliable save order

When an instructor submits session feedback with attendance and credits, attendance now saves before feedback, so marks and credit deductions stay in sync.

🧾 1:1 pay-as-you-go billing — clearer billing cycle text

When setting up pay-as-you-go billing before an invoice start date is chosen, the plan summary now still shows the selected billing cycle (e.g. monthly) instead of leaving that line blank.

👪 Store registration — your custom "Parent" label

Course purchase and registration on the store now uses your institute's configured name for parents (e.g. Guardian instead of "Parent") in field labels and placeholders.

Smaller improvements & fixes

• Learner home cover: store carousel banners only show when your store is public and has courses listed; otherwise learners see your normal institute cover, with no empty hero area.
• Session lists: instructor session titles no longer show a trailing ", undefined" when a course has no subject field.
• iPad: the student progress report layout no longer overflows horizontally.
• iOS / Android app (whitelabel): fixed a broken bottom navigation in chats and a dialog layout issue in the native app shell.
• Desktop header: removed the one-time "discovery" tooltip for the relocated header icons (chats, settings, notifications) — the layout itself is unchanged.
